A word from the artist
Beit Levin, also known as The Castle, was originally built for the Levin family and later became the Russian embassy.
Its roof includes a special mechanism that allows it to open to the sky, reportedly so it could serve as a sukkah during the holiday of Sukkot.
I used to work just across the street and spent many lunch breaks on the bench overlooking this building.
- A reproduction of an original painting
